HEROWEEN

Hosted By:

Where Every Hero Belongs

Heroween is an inclusive community event created so children with disabilities, medical conditions, special needs, and other limitations can enjoy an accessible evening of fun with their families. Hero families celebrate alongside Jeep owners, classic-car and hot-rod enthusiasts, businesses, volunteers, and the entire community.

OUR MISSION

An inclusive event where every family belongs.

Heroween began with a simple belief: no child should be left out because of a disability, medical condition, special need, or other limitation. We created an accessible evening where Hero families can have fun together while welcoming the entire community to be part of the experience. Because true inclusion does not happen when we separate people - it happens when we bring them together.

WHY HEROWEEN MATTERS

When access is considered, more families get to make the memories.

Accessibility matters

HeroWeen is designed with the experiences of children and families who may need a more thoughtful event environment.

Families come first

The event creates space for Hero families to celebrate without having to sit on the sidelines.

Community shows up

Volunteers, vehicle hosts, donors, and sponsors help make this welcoming night possible.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

There is a place for everyone at Heroween.

Volunteer

Help welcome families, support registration, manage event flow, refill candy supplies, assist with activities, and make every guest feel included.

Donate Candy

Help us collect 100,000 pieces of candy. Donated candy will also be used to refill vehicle hosts and businesses that run low during the event.

Decorate a Vehicle

Bring a Jeep, classic car, hot rod, truck, off-road vehicle, or other special vehicle. Decorate it, bring candy, and create a welcoming stop for families.

Host a Business Table

Businesses and community organizations can set up a decorated table, provide treats or activities, meet families, and be part of the experience.

Become a Sponsor

Corporate sponsorships support Wichita’s Littlest Heroes throughout the year through family assistance, accessibility projects, inclusive events, and programs that remove barriers.

Join as a Club

Jeep clubs, 4x4 groups, classic-car clubs, hot-rod groups, and other automotive communities are invited to attend together.

OUR $25,000 GOAL

Heroween brings us together. Your support helps Hero families all year.

Heroween is powered largely by the generosity of the community. Vehicle owners decorate their own vehicles and bring candy, businesses provide tables, treats, activities, and volunteers, and community members donate their time and resources.

Our $25,000 fundraising goal benefits Wichita’s Littlest Heroes and its year-round mission. Funds may help provide financial assistance, accessibility ramps and projects, adaptive support, family events, emergency assistance, and other programs that improve quality of life for Hero families.
